A “Go Jesse Go” concert [was] held on Sunday [May 15] at the International School of Port-of-Spain, Westmoorings from 7 pm. Performing at the concert will be Ryan himself and his quintet, with special guests vocalists Vaughnette Bigford and guitarist Theron Shaw, vocalist Lettesha Sylvester, guitarist Dean Williams, and a guest string trio.
The band also features Rodney Harris on piano, Kevon La Fleur on bass, David Richards on drums and Ernesto Garcia on percussion. Vocalist Aneesa Paul will also make an appearances.
Ryan’s scholarship is for the first two years after which there will be an evaluation, and provided he maintains a good GPA (grade point average) and continues to be an active student, Berklee will continue to give the partial schol. He is now in his second year of the programmme…
